Route
By train
Visitors arriving by plane at Schiphol airport can take the train to Leiden. Trains depart regularly (every 10 mins) from platform 5 or 6, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. A one-way ticket costs about € 5.00.
In Leiden, exit the central railway station (city centre side). You will find the Visitors’ Centre on the 1st Floor of the first building opposite the central station on your left-hand side named "Kamer van Koophandel".
By car
You are recommended to leave your car at the hospital car park just behind the central railway station.
A-44: follow the N44 (later A44) until exit 8 (Leiden, Noordwijk, Katwijk). At the end of the exit make a right turn. Then follow the signposts for "H-ziekenhuizen".
A4: follow the A4 and after that the A44 in the direction of Leiden-West. Follow the A44 until exit 8 (Leiden, Noordwijk, Katwijk, N206). After the exit make a left turn and drive under the viaduct. Then follow the signposts for "H-Ziekenhuizen".
